Our Lady of Sorrows Feast Day Picnic -September 18, 2010 - Starting with Mass at 5:00pm
Bull Roast at Shepherd's Farm in Lothian. We really need an
accurate headcount to order the right amount of beef so PLEASE let us
know if you will be attending! There are sign up sheets at the church
entrances and you may also RSVP here. The cost is $10 for Adults, $5 for kids aged 10-18, and kids under 10 are free.
Join us - there will be plenty of food, fun and fellowship for all!

for ALL classes - including 9th grade and Confirmation evening classes.
CCSC - Catholic Communities of South County Final Report
Two years of hard work are finally at an end. The CCSC committee has made their recommendations of how we should handle having only two priests for three parishes when that situation arises (hopefully not for a long time). Election Dates:
The 2010 elections in Maryland include races for governor, U.S. House and
Senate, and the entire Maryland General Assembly, among others. Any
registered voter may vote early or absentee.
- Tuesday, Aug. 24: Voter registration deadline for the primary election.
- Friday, Sept. 3 thru Thur. Sept. 9: Early voting for primary election.
- Tuesday, Sept. 7: Deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for primary election
- Tuesday, Sept. 14: PRIMARY ELECTION (and deadline to postmark absentee ballot, which must be received by the Board of Elections by Sept. 22)
- Tuesday, Oct. 12: Voter registration deadline for general election.
- Fri., Oct. 22 thru Thur., Oct 28: Early voting for general election.
- Tues. Oct. 26: Deadline to apply for absentee ballot for general election.
- Tues. Nov. 2: GENERAL ELECTION (and deadline to postmark absentee ballot, which must be received by the Board of Elections by Nov. 12)
